The program of cleaning and sanitation of Zlot canyon, Lazar’s and Vernjikica caves, riverbanks will be carried out at the entries to the beautiful Zlot canyon where caves are situated. The aim of the project is to clean the entrance of the canyon and caves, prepare them again for tourist use and protect them from further destruction. Work: In cooperation with local residents volunteers will clean Zlot canyon, Lazar’s and Vernjikica caves and riverbanks. |
Accommodation: Participants will be accommodated under the tents, at the entrance of the canyon, just by the motel “Zlotske pecine”. We will be able to use the bathroom in the motel. Food will be provided by the staff of the motel. Bring sleeping bag. Language: English Locations: Village Zlot, 40 km from town Bor, 260 km from Belgrade. Terminal: Belgrade Special remark: An elementary course of speleology (science on caves) will be organised but volunteers should have some minimal knowledge of speleology. Participation fee: 25 €.
