UFUFUO is a Quaker organization whose mission is rebuilding and reconciliation. W: This project involves working with the United Methodist Relief Center on the construction and renovation of homes destroyed by hurricanes. Clients live in poverty and are handicapped, disabled and/or elderly. A: To be determined. LO: Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina T: Charleston, South Carolina SR: Experience in construction is helpful but not necessary.

Up-to-date tetanus inoculation required. This project is spiritually grounded project with very high standards of personal conduct.
Absolutely no foul language, smoking, alcohol or drugs. Vols required to participate in interfaith discussions and Quaker spiritual activities. Not recommended for volunteers with severe asthma or weakened immune systems, due to possible health risks.
